Pruebas ERTMS LAV Antequera Granada

El laboratorio de interoperabilidad ferroviaria del CEDEX probó durante el primer trimestre del año 2019 la interoperabilidad entre la vía y el tren en la línea de alta velocidad Antequera- Granada equipada con Nivel 2 ERTMS.

La línea de alta velocidad Antequera – Granada forma parte del eje transversal de Andalucía. Es una infraestructura que permite conectar de manera directa por alta velocidad Granada con Málaga, Córdoba, Sevilla y Madrid.

Es una línea diseñada para alcanzar los 300km/h con una longitud de 120 km aproximadamente y equipada con señalización ERTMS de nivel 2.

Durante el año 2019, el laboratorio de interoperabilidad del CEDEX (LIF) ha realizado las pruebas de interoperabilidad a esta línea de alta velocidad. Estas pruebas consisten en hacer circular un equipo real ERTMS de tren (OBU) sobre una vía simulada equipada con los RBC’s reales de la línea. Para el caso de Antequera –Granada, el suministrador que equipa la vía es Siemens y el equipo ERTMS de tren empleado fue el de ALSTOM. La ejecución de estas pruebas ha permitido detectar incidencias de interoperabilidad y por tanto su depuración, antes de comenzar las pruebas en la línea real con la consiguiente reducción de tiempo y costes.

Como ejemplo, en el laboratorio se detectó un problema del handover o transición entre los dos RBCs de la línea, que permitió su corrección antes de la puesta en servicio el 26 de junio de 2019.

ERTMS tests of the Antequera-Granada HSL

CEDEX Rail Interoperability lab has performed in the first quarter of 2019 the train-track interoperability of the high speed line (HSL) Antequera-Granada equipped with ERTMS L2.

The high speed line Antequera-Granada belogns to the rail transversal corridor of Andalucía. It is a line allowing the high speed connection of Granada with Málaga, Cordoba, Sevilla and Madrid.

It is a line designed to reach a speed up to 300 km/h with a total length of 120 kms and equipped with the signaling system ERTMS Level 2.

During the first quarter of 2019, CEDEX Rail interoperability lab has performed the interoperability tests of this HSL. These tests consist on running a simulated train equipped with a real ERTMS On Board Unit (OBU) over a simulated track equipped with the two real RBCs of the line. For this especific case the tarck supplier is Siemens and the on Board equipment used by CEDEX lab has been the Alstom ETCS OBU BL2. The execution of the tests at lab allowed detecting some interoperability incidences and therefore its early debugging before testing on the real line with the associated cost and time reduction.

As an example, a problem in the process of handover between the two RBCS of the line was detected, allowing its correction before placing in servcie the line on June 26th 2019.
