Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering invites applications for a
full-time tenure-track faculty position in the area of civil engineering
infrastructure systems with applications in environmental and water resources
engineering. <SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>Applications will be
accepted at the rank of assistant professor. <SPAN
style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>The applicant must possess a record of,
or potential for, substantial peer-reviewed research and publication. A record
of prior, effective, university-level teaching experience is desirable.
Candidates are sought with research expertise in one or more of the following
specializations: modeling of water resources and environmental systems, resource
management optimization, development and applications of sensors for water
resources and environmental systems, and emerging technologies. Applicants must
have a Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering and an earned
doctorate by the time of hire in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering or
a closely related field. Professional experience is highly desirable.
Professional licensure is desirable and will be required for tenure.<SPAN
