The list of textbooks indentified by Dr Buiyan was prepared by the IAHR
Flubial Hydraulics Section and may be found in the IAHR website under
eLibrary>resources "list of river engineering textbooks". The table includes
a comprehensive list of books published in English by category together with
scanned tables of contents.

Dear Dr Mafizur  Rahman (Kaiser),

There was a good discussion on River Engineering
books during February-March 2002 in this discussion group. Quite a number of
books were listed by
the experienced contributors during that discussion which also included
books emphasing on
morphological process description. That may be useful for references.

You may also take direct help from your colleagues in Dept. of Water
Resources Engg., BUET
or Institute of Water and Flood Management, BUET who are involved in
teaching and research in river engineering and river morphology....
