CEDEX has dealt from the beginning with the materialization of its knowledge in different ways through written documentation, transmitting to the techno-scientific community the experience of its notable professionals, many of them teachers and lecturers, accumulated in a continuous work of study and research in every field of the Civil Engineering.

The oldest technical publications of CEDEX dates back to the first years of its eldest Centres and forms already part of the history of the civil engineering and the public works. Most of them are out of print and has been decatalogued at the end of the eighties. Nevertheless, there are still some copies in the CEDEX Libraries Network Red where they can be consulted and some of them, in spite of the time passed since their publication, keep up to date and full of interest.

The present catalogue of publications of CEDEX (only available in Spanish) includes three editorial collections:

• Blue Series collection, formed by several series that, avoiding a difficult classification by matters, group books that present similar characteristics: Research Booklets, Monographs, Manuals and Recommendations, Documents, Technical Standards, Congresses, etc.
• CEHOPU publications, comprising the active editorial production, in matter of historic research in engineering, of the Centro de Estudios Históricos de Obras Públicas y Urbanismo (CEHOPU).
• The magazine Ingeniería Civil, published quarterly, that has become one of the principal channels for the publication of technical articles on civil engineering in the Spanish language.
