The Centre for Applied Techniques Studies (Centro de Estudios de Técnicas Aplicadas) within CEDEX, coordinates the different back-up units, that specialize in physics, electronics, computational analysis and environmental engineering; these departments solve civil engineering problems with the introduction of new techniques and methods. The Training and Documentation Department is responsible for keeping professionals in civil engineering and public works informed about the latest developments and techniques, by using information transfer processes and permanent training.
