The technology transfer, to spread among society the results of the knowlege obtained, is one of the basic functions of the Organization, carried out by various means:

• numerous training activities, at national and international level,such as Masters, Courses, Workshops and Other Activities;
• activities of information and documentation, with preparation of Technical Reports and Publications; creation and management of documental databases and providing an extensive bibliography in a specialized Libraries Network;
• active participation in information networks national and international.
• exploitation of the external action to disseminate, by means of short courses and other activities, the own technology.

CEDEX also performs other complementary activities closely linked to those mentioned above, such as:

• the proposal and elaboration of technical standars.
• functions of certification and homologationin specific matters.
• acquisition and ownership of commercial patents.
• membership and active presence in national (spanish) and international (spanish) committees, associations and working groups.
