Description
Automatic high efficiency equipment that allows for the extraction of binder from bituminous mixtures, sieving of aggregates, recovery of filler and the regeneration of the solvent, in only one stage. The circuit is closed so that a lot of solvent is saved and the emission of toxic fumes is reduced. It has a static column of sieves with vibration, a high capacity centrifuge, a distillation unit with a condenser refrigerated with water, a solvent deposit, a pump for the solvent and an electronic control pannel.
Technical characteristics
Applications
Extraction of binders of bituminous mixtures for the determination of the quantity of bitumen, sieving of aggregates and recovery of filler. It is used with laboratory samples, asphalt plant samples and core samples of roads in use. It is very useful for the performance of a great number of tests.

Description
The compactor has the capacity to produce automatically cylindrical laboratory samples of 100 and 150 mm diameter. It has a hydraulic piston, an electric gyratory engine, a system of continuous measurement of the sample height, an internal control system of the equipment and data manipulation with RS-232 exit, a matrix printer, a kit for height calibration, pressure, angle and speed, a manual hydraulic piston to desmould the samples, a temperature bore and several moulds and accessories to perform the test. The data can be translated to a computer and be treated with specific programs for SHRP mixture design (Gyropave).
Technical characteristics
Applications
This equipment is used in the laboratory for the study of hot bituminous mixtures compacting. Through the corresponding volumetric calculations and in accordance to SHRP specifications (AASHTO TP4-93 and AASHTO MP2-95) it allows for the dosage of bituminous mixtures.

Description
Hydraulic press designed to reach 10000 kg of maximum compressive load at constant deformation speed. The speed is controlled through voltage variations supplied to the engines with direct current that move the lower plate with a worm gear. The load is reached with high quality pushing-bearing. The press also has a mobile lower plate, a high rigidity frame, an upper crossbeam adjustable in height where the load cell is fixed, an electronic control panel, an acquisition, storage and manipulation data system and several accessories.
Technical characteristics
Applications
Mechanical characterisation of bituminous mixtures under compression, indirect tensile strength, Marshall breaking, triaxial, etc., of laboratory test samples or road samples. The results are necessary for the design of bituminous mixtures (Marshall dosage, mixtures dosage, recycling, etc.), for the study of the permanent plastic deformation resistance (stability and Marshall deformation), to test the effects of water on mixtures (immersion-compression test), fulfilment of values specified in the norms, etc.

Description
Equipment to test bituminous mixtures for the evaluation of the resistance to permanent deformations. All the elements fulfil the specifications of the NLT-173 norm. The equipment has an automatic acquisition and manipulation data system.
Technical characteristics
Applications
Study of the resistance to permanent plastic deformations of bituminous mixtures in accordance to the NLT-173 norm of laboratory test samples, asphalt plant or road samples. Quality control of bituminous mixtures. Susceptibility to the content of binder in bituminous mixtures.
Description
Equipment for the fabrication of laboratory test samples and measurement of permanent deformations of bituminous mixtures. It has a hydraulic piston, a gyratory engine and elements for the measurement and continuous registration of the gyratory angle, sample height and gyratory pressure. The compacting is performed by the kneading machine that puts the sample to a static vertical load whilst the sample axe describes a conic revolution movement with a small angle.
Technical characteristics
Applications
Gyratory compactor for the production of cylindrical samples of bituminous mixtures. Measurement of the workability. Test of the resistance to permanent plastic deformations of asphalt mixtures.
